Make a difference
While the treatment of cancer and blood-related diseases has advanced significantly, the search for a "cure" continues.  The research to make this possible, however, requires the support of concerned individuals.  Contributions - regardless of amoint - bring more refined and increasingly effective approaches to the treatment of cancer, leukemia, HIV and other cancer-related illness.

Giving hope to patients with cancer care
While the treatment of cancer and blood-related diseases has advanced significantly, the search for a "cure" continues.  The research to make this possible, however, requires the support of concerned individuals.  Contributions - regardless of amoint - bring more refined and increasingly effective approaches to the treatment of cancer, leukemia, HIV and other cancer-related illness.

Carmela Terlingo Cancer Fund
The Carmela Terlingo Cancer fund brings researchers, physicians, families and patients closer to ensuring that all individuals diagnosed with cancer can live to its fullest potential.  In honor of Carmella Terlingo her family thankful for all the medical and supportive care she received started this fund to show their gratitude.

Milton Maloney Leukemia Fund
Experiencing the need for more solutions to the treatment of leukemia first hand, Mr. maloney and his wife, upon their deaths, directed that their entire estate be liquidated and used for the treatment and research of leukemia.

Uses of the fund

The Carmella Terlingo Cancer Fund and the Milton Maloney Leukemia Fund are used to further patient care and assist patients with special needs; to educate patients, families and clinicians; and to offer clinicians and patients the opportunity to participate in research projects.  The fund also supports the education of doctors and nurses in the care of cancer and HIV patients.

Pennsylvania Oncology Hematology Associates has used this fund to meet the greatest needs since 1982.  They have concentrated on improving the treatment outcome in patients with cancer and HIV.

How you can help
The future of education for medical professionals involved in the treatment of cancer, leukemia and HIV, and the research necessary to make progress in these areas depends on generous giving by everyone concerned with finding a cure for cancer.  Support of the Carmella Terlingo Cancer Fund and the Milton Maloney Leukemia Fund helps meet these goals.  Contributions enable research and education projects to move toward a future where each and every person diagnosed with cancer can expect a better outcome.  Tax deductible contributions may be made to the Carmela Terlingo Cancer Fund.  Your help is graciously and genuinely appreciated by Pennsylvania Oncology Hematology Associates and the millions of Americans diagnosed with cancer and their families.
